Anticipated Opening: Elementary Teacher – The Town of Webb Union Free School District is accepting applications for an anticipated probationary elementary teaching position beginning September 1, 2025. Please only submit elementary education/childhood education applications to this vacancy as a primary certification. Multiple certifications preferred. Ideally the successful candidate will be able to teach at all levels Pre-K-6 as per their certifications.

Anticipated Opening: Vocal Music Teacher - Town of Webb Union Free School District seeks a K-12 Vocal Music Teacher to begin September 1, 2025. NYS certification in Music required or eligible; multiple certifications desired. Candidates are expected to possess strong vocal and general music abilities, strong interpersonal skills along with a willingness to work in a small PreK-12 District where as the only content area instructor, you truly are able to impact the educational outcomes of the students by having them as your students for multiple years.

For the above positions, a probationary appointment will be based on certification and education, NYS Education Laws and the Town of Webb UFSD’s Teachers contract.

Opening: Office Assistant II –Town of Webb Union Free School District seeks an Office Assistant II (Civil Service Position) to begin immediately:

Experience: with intensive work in a computerized environment is preferred. High School Diploma, Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Drive experience and strong interpersonal skills required. Sample Job Description can be found on the Herkimer County Civil Service website.
Requirements: Must be a resident of Herkimer County or the school district, and score satisfactorily (within top 3) on Herkimer County Civil Service “Office Assistant II" exam. Initial hiring will be provisional with permanent hiring possible based on the outcome of the Civil Service exam. Test schedule is available on the Herkimer County Civil Service website.

Compensation: Pay will be commensurate with experience, ranging from $17-$20/hour, and other benefits as part of the Civil Service Employees Unit.
Work Schedule: This is a Full-Time; 12 Month Position

Opening: Classroom Aide - The Town of Webb Union Free School District is accepting applications for an anticipated full-time Classroom Aide for the 2025-2026 school year. The role of a classroom aide is to work with student(s) in a variety of programs. The position requires an ability to assist students in areas such as academics, organization and behavior.

Opening: Out of District Classroom/Bus Aide - The Town of Webb Union Free School District is accepting applications for a full-time, (outside-of-district) Bus/Classroom Aide for the 2025-2026 school year. The role of a classroom aide is to work with student(s) with disabilities in a variety of programs. The position requires an ability to assist students in areas such as academics, organization and behavior. The role of a bus aide is to assist student(s) on/off the bus, as well as ensuring that student(s) are secured appropriately and monitoring behavior. This position would be as a bus aide to and from home to an academic program in another school district and a classroom aide while in attendance at the other program. Typical workday is estimated to be 7:45am-4pm.

For the above Aide/Bus Aide positions, the probationary appointment is full time during the school year, is part of the CSEA contractual union and comes with full benefits. It is also part of the State retirement system.

Opening: Cleaner - The Town of Webb UFSD is accepting applications for a Full Time, Part Time and/or Substitute to begin immediately. The role of a cleaner is to maintain the classroom and common area spaces of the school building. The candidate must be organized, detail-oriented, and flexible.

Opening: Bus Drivers - The Town of Webb UFSD seeks bus drivers for the 2025-2026 school year. Full-time, part-time and substitute drivers needed to cover shifts from Woodgate to Raquette Lake. Flexible scheduling and Paid Training available.
