We would like to introduce Nurse Practitioner, Dr. Ashley Price, to the Town of Webb UFSD School Community.  She is here on Wednesdays in Old Forge booking in-person appointments!  Please call The Neighborhood Center directly at 315-272-2700 to schedule.  This is available to students and the community so please spread the word!


BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Ashley Price, DNP, FPMHNP-BC, is a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner specializing in psychiatric mental health. With a strong educational background and years of hands-on experience, Ashley is committed to providing holistic care to individuals facing mental health challenges and addiction. She graduated from Mohawk Valley Community College with an Associate in Applied Science: Nursing in 2004 and spent 6 years specializing in Oncology before transitioning into psychiatry. In 2013, Ashley obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing through Keuka College to complete her undergraduate education. She attended graduate school at Rush University in Chicago and obtained her doctoral degree in 2018, specializing as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.

Ashley’s professional journey has been marked by a diverse range of roles and experiences. She delved into the intricacies of mental health care through her work in psychiatric units, outpatient mental health clinics, and inpatient addiction treatment centers where she provided vital support and guidance to individuals, offering psychiatric care to address their unique needs and challenges. Additionally, Ashley has also contributed her expertise to community health, bridging the gap in access to care for underserved populations with serious persistent mental illness through 5 years of service on an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team. Her involvement in educational institutions further highlights her commitment to psychiatric nursing through nurturing the next generation of healthcare professionals, having the pleasure of serving as an adjunct clinical nursing professor at Hartwick College.

Driven by a passion for healthcare and a commitment to improving the lives of individuals with mental health concerns, Ashley intends to continue making a positive impact on the communities she serves, embodying the core values of compassion, integrity, and excellence in care. She currently serves adults and teens, ages 15 and up.
